Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Bella's Custom Treats is here to help! In this 1.5-hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided in class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).

You’ll be “dill-ighted” in this 1.5 hour cookie decorating class where we will decorate 6 cookie “prick-ture” perfect cookies using 4 icing colors. You won’t be-leaf how good you’ll get!

You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! More details on refunds, things to bring, cancelations, and FAQs are below - looking forward to having you with us.

What to Expect:

This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We’ll be decorating six plant-themed cookies – so sign up for a fern-tastic thyme!

We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

This class is on 9/5 and 9/7 and starts at 6:30pm Adult class / 11 am Kid Class sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - we have seating for up to 10 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!

This class is good for ages 12 and older, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, bring them on satuarday to our Kid class

The class will be held at the Design's By Lee in Stamford, CT located at 129 Interlaking rd. Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! Parking is pretty easy - Pull into the design center the class is held in the party room located to the right of the coy pond..

Here's what the class includes:
1. Cookie Decorating: Kids will decorate three cookies to create an edible art. They will learn various techniques to bring their cookies to life, including icing, frosting, and edible decorations.
2. Creative Freedom: We encourage kids to let their imagination run wild, allowing them to personalize their snowman cookies with unique colors, designs, and expressions.
3. All Supplies Provided: We'll supply all the tools, cookies, and materials needed for the class, so you don't have to worry about a thing. Just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
4. Fun and Learning: This class is not only a great way to have fun but also an opportunity for kids to learn about basic cookie decorating skills in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
5. Take-Home Treats: Every participant will leave the class with beautifully decorated cookies to share with family and friends, or
simply enjoy on their own.

Things to Bring :

 Wondering what you need to bring to have a successful time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things we recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!

·       Bring an apron! Things can get messy when you’re workin’ with royal icing – so grab an apron (bonus points if it’s cute – I’ll definitely be asking where you got it).

·       Bring your glasses! There’s a reference slide deck to help you decorate, but if things get blurry far away, seeing glasses may be a great bet.

·       Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!

·       Bring a mask if you’d like! These classes follow the state health guidelines, but if you’d like to wear a mask throughout class – please do!

·       Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.

Class Fee:
● The cost for this delightful cookie decorating class is $35 per child $45 per adult class. Accompanying adult is free in kid class. This fee includes all the materials and supplies required for the class.

Location:
● The class will take place at "Designs by Lee," a warm and inviting space that's perfect for unleashing your  creativity.

Class Cancelation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a credit for a future class or order on my site.

Classes with attendance below 4 will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either have your ticket moved to a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 2 days before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.
